Halloween Window Decor

f you are throwing a Halloween party, then you need to make sure that the decorations for the party goes with the Halloween theme. One of the bestHalloween decorations ideas that you can do is to purchase webbing material in black color, and arrange them over window panes. This should be done in such a way that the window pane looks like it is covered in spider web. Some plastic spiders placed strategically over the webbing will give the cobweb a more realistic as well as spooky look. Both the webbing and the plastic spiders can be purchased from special craft stores or hobby centers.

Another great and awesome Halloween decoration is to get some inexpensive paper-mache or plain cardboard box and place them in and around the house. Cover the boxes with black or gray colored paper and place a vampire or a witch in it in such a way that it looks like it is emerging out of the box. To get the correct ambiance for your Halloween party, rent some ghoul or witch costumes and arrange them over a mannequin. You can even string the ghoul costume up in a beam or ceiling fan to frighten your guests. If you need a quick and easy Halloween craft, then why not use medical gauze to wrap a life sized doll. This is one of the best way to make a life sized mummy. Place this spooky mummy in front of your door or hang it upside down from the porch for a dramatic effect. This spooky mummy is a great outdoor Halloween decoration ideas for your home.

No Halloween decoration is complete without the Jack-O-Lantern. Make your own jack-o-lantern my using a big pumpkin or a some small pumpkins. Cut a small portion of the pumpkin from the top, making sure that the cut is small and clear. Now scoop out all the flesh and seeds from the inside of the pumpkin, keeping in mind that the outer skin is not damaged in any way. Now carve the pumpkin to make big eyes and mouth. Place some tea light candles inside to create a daunting glow. Place all these pumpkin(s) in a straight line from the porch to your front door. For creating the right ambiance for Halloween, you can get clear glass jars or cookie jars and fill them with green colored water. Place some small plastic insects inside them. These insects will float on top and create a very good effect. Use pine cones, leaves, twigs and branches to make good Halloween decorations for yard. Bats made of fabric or plastic, should be hung from curtains and doors as Halloween decorations.
